This Week, Bank Account, Feature Finish
I did 3 things over the weekend (and today).
I've got 1 more feature to add. It came from the testing I did with my wife. I need to add an "alert" option on some of the major events in the system. I.e. When you leave a comment on a "Piece", you should be able to click a checkbox and have it notify certain people.
The first thing she asked when we she did something was, "Will all the people know something changed?"
If that's the first thought that pop's into her head, then the software better do it!
- Performed usability testing of Ataraxis Pudding. Test subject? The Wife.
- Spoke to banker about business account.
- Fixing usability flaws. ;)

Count me in for the beta test!
You're already on the list!
Do you need a business plan before you can open a merchant account in the US?
Hi John,
No. The bank I spoke to told me I need a Tax ID and the proof that I actually created a business, to open a "business" account.
Do you have to write a business plan in the UK?

Hi Michael,
I've not done it myself, but from what I've read the UK banks don't make it especially easy to open a merchant account: http://www.bd4d.com/blog/2005/09/05/how-to-build-a-successful-web-startup-in-the-uk-part-v-get-ready-to-kiss-your-banks-ass/
That sucks. They should be encouraging you, it's how the economy grows. In the US, any idiot can get a business going. (I'm proof of that. :) )
