Vista will be a train wreck
I've been saying this for about a year now (not on my blog, but to you know - actual people). Vista will be a train wreck.
They need to stop letting their programmers design the UI of everything. With as much money as they got floating around, you'd think they would have hired someone who has a frigg'n clue.
I use Windows XP all day at work, and when I come home to use OSX.... It's just amazing. It's not perfect, but amazing doesn't have to be.

FYI, I think you double copied your link there.
Vista really is going to be a piece of s***. I don't care how much money M$ has, I stil believe that they are digging themselves a grave with all those resources rather than designing the future.
I only hope Apple doesn't go the same way one day. Hopefully OS XI will be a software version of Steve Jobs so that when he croaks, we'll all still be fine. :)

You've got a typo in your post heading there.
I installed Vista RC1 into a Parallels VM on my gorgeous new Core 2 Duo iMac last night. I shall be blogging about what I think in detail at some point, but my first impressions are that Vista was not worth waiting five years for! Actually, it's really more like two years because they started again half way through, but even then it's very disappointing!
On the plus side, I really like the new folder icon that they're using - it's gorgeous at the maximum size. Well done Microsoft.
Ha ha, highlight of the whole product... the folder icon! :)
Link and spelling fixed. Thanks guys.
