No Fluff Just Stuff, Central Florida Software Symposium
I went to the Central Florida Software Symposium over the weekend. It's a 3-day, Java-centric conference. Here's what I took away.
I also got to meet a few people who are local to Central Florida. I have no shame, so I handed out my blog URL. :) Steve, Jennifer, and Ken: if you guys need any help with Spring, drop me a line. I may be able to help you with something!
- All the presenters are "agile" guys.
- All the presenters are very interested in what Ruby and Ruby on Rails can do.

What's the cost to attent such a conference down in Florida? Was it worth it?
My current employer paid for it. So yeah, it's worth it! ;)
But honestly, these conferences are great. If you can afford to go to one, do it.
We're on a roll on the approvals, Michael - you to the Java Symposium, me to CFUNITED...
Who knows - maybe I'll be able to talk our employer in to buying us all Macs before the end of the year! :)
- max
Max - if that were the case I'd be at least 20 minutes more productive at work! (Time it takes to log into our domain at work through Windows - with Mac, bye bye domain!)
